onSkipElement Method

Called when element is skipped instead of exported.

onSkipElement(_elementId: string): Promise<void>

@note When an element is skipped, exporter will not export any of its child elements. Because of this, onSkipElement will not be invoked for any children of a "skipped" element.

@note During IModelExporter.exportChanges, an unchanged ancestor is filtered only when a changed descendant is reached. An element excluded by ID below it may therefore receive onSkipElement before the ancestor is rejected.
